Matt Cohenour
Matt is an experienced Real Estate Reseller that has been rehabbing and selling properties in South Florida since 2016. Matt is a licensed Real Estate agent, State Certified Building Inspector and Community Association Manager. Prior to joining MAFREC, Matt was rehabbing, managing, and selling Multifamily properties across southeast Florida. Matt is Florida DBPR Board Certified. Matt has a proven ability to discern real from apparent opportunities in distressed real estate.
Fernando Degwitz
Fernando is an international developer and contractor based in Miami. He was born and raised in Venezuela until he left for Boston where he received a Bachelor of Science with two majors (Civil Engineering and Economics) from Tufts University (2003), and then a Master of Engineering from M.I.T. (2004). He returned to Venezuela, where he has been developing real estate since 2005. He has also been a private general contractor since 2008. In 2018, he and his partners founded a development company in Panama that is currently executing affordable housing projects. In 2020, he obtained and Executive M.B.A. from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management. He is currently pursuing real estate investing opportunities in Florida.
Alexander Degwitz
Alexander’s sensibility for family business stems from his experience having been designated chairman and CEO of the founding family enterprises of both of his grandfathers. He was a key guide for his family through a double generational transition with liquidity event. As a fourth-generation family member, he is convinced that family businesses are the best vehicle for the collective evolution of its stakeholders and the communities where they exist. He chairs his family’s investment committee and manages two real estate ventures whilst being the Executive Director of a Family Office and Chair of his own extended Family Council since 2018. Before that he was a Vice Chairman of the GEM board of directors since 2013.
